At nine years old, I developed a small obsession for collecting model cars. Not to play with, but to display.

I loved the miniature versions for several reasons; they could fit on my shelf, and they fit in my allowance.

However, the full-sized ones always caught my eye, and after growing up in one the US's best car cities, that obsession only grew.
